I come from a family of educators and was passionate about teaching from a very early age. After graduating from university, where I studied Primary Education and Music, I completed my Newly Qualified Teacher year at an independent school in the South East of England. I worked at an independent school in Bristol, then moved to Sandroyd to work within the Pre-Prep department following my first maternity leave.

Mrs EL COLLIS-HUNTER BA(Hons), EYTS
Deputy Head of Walled Garden
Year 2 Teacher
Head of Dance
I thoroughly enjoy working in early years learning but it is not where my career began. I graduated with a BA Hons in Performing Arts and then worked in London, Greece, Austria and Devon, before moving back to Dorset. I have my Early Years Professional Status and using my love of drama, dance, sports, I am passionate about making all learning a fun and exciting experience.

Mrs K CAMPBELL HILL BSc (Hons), EYPS, PGCE
Year 1 Teacher
It was not until having children of my own that I realised how much I enjoyed the company of young people and entered the unique world of ?Early Years?! As an EYFS teacher, I am passionate about the value of building a sound foundation to a child?s education. The thrill I get from teaching a child to read and seeing the ?lightbulb moment? when all those meaningless squiggles start to make sense is still as exciting now as when I started.
Mrs J LAMBERT-HURLEY BA (Hons), PGCE (RECEPTION)
Walled Garden Art CoOrdinator
My background has been varied but has always involved learning, it started within adult learning where I designed bespoke workshops and training programmes with my own consultancy. After having my daughter in 2007 I began to look at learning with a completely different perspective.
I am passionate about early learning, and truly feel that helping children to achieve their own goals and desires, is the most rewarding role I could ever have, second only to being a mother.
